The 2027 Boston Marathon marks the 131st edition of the world’s oldest annual marathon, one of the most historic and prestigious races in the running world. First held in 1897, it has become a symbol of determination, endurance and excellence. As an Abbott World Marathon Major, it is a must-run event for athletes pursuing the coveted Six Star Medal.

Unlike most major marathons, Boston is renowned for its demanding qualifying standards, making participation a remarkable achievement for runners around the world. Every year, hundreds of thousands of spectators line the course on Patriots’ Day, a Massachusetts holiday, creating an incredible atmosphere filled with energy, tradition and pride.

The legendary point-to-point course starts in Hopkinton and takes runners through eight cities and towns before reaching the iconic finish line on Boylston Street, in the heart of Boston. Along the way, you will experience some of the most famous sections in marathon history: the enthusiastic crowds at Wellesley College, the challenging Newton Hills and the legendary Heartbreak Hill near mile 20.

Please note: our Boston packages include hotel accommodation only. They do not include a race entry: runners must secure their own bib through the race qualification process.
