2026 marks the 56th edition of the world’s largest marathon and the 50th anniversary of the race being held across New York City’s five boroughs.
The New York City Marathon medal is one of the most prestigious achievements in the running world. As an Abbott World Marathon Major, this race is a must for runners pursuing the coveted 7-Star Medal.
Starting in Staten Island, you will run through the 5 boroughs of New York City (Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Manhattan) to finally crossing the finish line in iconic Central Park.
The 2025 edition of the race boasted a total of 59,226 finishers, making the race the world’s largest marathon ever!
Whether it’s your first and only marathon, a lifetime dream or a yearly pilgrimage, the NYC Marathon is in the hearts of runners all around the world.
With almost a million spectators and a carnival atmosphere in the streets of the Big Apple, the race is an unforgettable experience.

I Run the Globe is an official International Tour Operator of the TCS New York City Marathon. We have an allocation of a limited amount of guaranteed entries. These are exclusive to runners acquiring our travel packages. Those are available on a first come first serve basis. We are not permitted to sell entries only!
