Looking for a marathon in Africa? Then the Marrakech marathon is the race for you! Most major European airports are only a couple of hours away from Marrakech. In addition, you could also find direct flights to Morocco from YUL, JFK, IAD and many more North American airports.

The Marrakech Marathon and Half Marathon are ideal for a cold weather escape. Perfect for unwinding in the Mediterranean sun with a refreshing mint tea after running 42 kilometers.

Running in Morocco will also allow you to become familiarized with the local culture. Allow yourself to be a part of this uniqueambiance. This will make your race one of a kind and help you cross the finish line. With picturesque musicians along the route and locals watching participants pass through their neighborhood, you will be entertained along the race.

The peaceful city of Marrakech provides beautiful scenery and mild weather in late January. The race is a beautiful loop known as one of the fastest marathons in the world. You will run along the laneways of palm, orange, and olive trees, as well as the walls of the medina (the old town).

El Andalous has both a concierge and room service. El Andalous also has a swiming pool, which will come in handy after your 42- kilometer journey. Breakfast and dinner are available every day of your stay.

The hotel is close to Cyber Park Arsat Moulay Abdeslam and Marrakech Train Station, making it ideal for exploring Marrakech. Furthermore, you will be a 10-minute walk from the race’s start/finish line.
