Details

The marathon is organized by the Rock ‘n’ roll Running Series, the world’s largest running events organizers. And just like all other Rock ‘n’ Roll races there will be live performing music stages along the route.

If you don’t want to participate to the marathon, you would be able to run the half or the 10K race. In 2021 there were more than 30 thousand runners coming form 104 countries running these three races.

The race takes you by Santiago Bernabeu, Palacio Real, Catedral de la Almudena, Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Fuente de Neptuno and several other landmark of the capital city of Spain.

The city of Madrid is in the center of Spain. The city is entertaining at any time of the day. Other than its world known museums, Madrid will fascinate you with its historic sites, century old bars, diverse neighbourhood that provide different forms of attractions.

I Run the Globe chose the Catalonia – Plaza Mayor for your stay in Madrid.

Located in the heart Madrid. This hotel is in the middle of the city’s most desirable cultural and retail district. You will be at a walking distance from the finish line of the marathon.

The establishment has a gym, a Jacuzzi, and complimentary wireless Internet connection at the hotel. For meetings and events, there is a café and snack bar, as well as a restaurant.

Breakfast is included in our packages every day of your stay.

The Catalonia Plaza Mayor is housed in a historic edifice that dates from the early twentieth century and is part of the Historic “Villa de Madrid” (Old Town of Madrid) which is also known as the “Madrid de los Austrias”
